Recipe: Homemade Tortillas (Zero Plastic!)

Throughout our journey of going #zerowaste, we realized we consume a lot of bread, especially tortillas. This meant purchasing a lot of plastic… until we found an incredible alternative!

We are excited to share our first recipe with you which takes around 20 minutes to prepare and cook. This is quick and easy #zeroplastic homemade tortilla recipe which makes 8 tortillas. Feel free to double (or triple it!) it if you have a big crowd, or want to freeze them for later.

So go ahead, give it a whirl and save plastic bags in the meantime!

Ingredients

2 cups of flour

1/2 teaspoon of salt

3/4 cups of water

3 tablespoons of olive oil

  1. In a bowl, combine flour and salt

  2. Stir in water and oil with a fork
